Winter is here and we are all looking forward to those awesome nipple deep powder days and bluebird touring weekends. Right?

But with those days, the decisions whether it is safe to go or rather skip on that face or couloir are coming up as well again. And o gosh which steepness was again fine at an avalanche level 2? Was it 30 degrees or 35? 6 months or more without spending one thought about snowpack’s, steepness or terrain make our brains slow.    

Now it’s time to unpack our well-stored knowledge, again. Refreshing what’s already there and getting new inputs. And all of it in the action with perfect powder skies from ELAN!
